To be the leader
The human foot is a complex marvel of 26 bones, 33 joints and 107 ligaments, all linked by a network of muscles, nerves, blood vessels and skin. Feet take a daily pounding of 8,000 to 10,000 steps and 115,00 miles in a lifetime.
Foot care covers far more than the aggravation of a corn, a callous or a sore toe. Proper foot care can mean life or death to someone with diabetes or heart disease. To an older person, foot care can be the difference between enjoying life or-as foot problems lead to immobility-no life. It's more than simple foot care, it's about cost-effective preventative medicine and saving limbs and lives. It's about keeping people mobile and independent.
To that end our practice philosophy is based on the following principles practiced each day in our clinics:
- Committed to the highest standards of honesty and integrity.
- Place our patients' best interests first.
- Always listen to our patients and appreciate their special needs.
- From the intitial office visit through the continuum of care, carefully explain the nature of the medical condition and all treatment options available.
Together, Dr. Aung and you can decide which treatment plan is best for you.
In keeping these goals in mind, we remain focused on delivering personalized patient care that truly makes Aung FootHealth Clinics a center of excellence.
A Few Words from Our Patients
This is just a short note of thanks for helping relieve the extreme pain from my heel spurs.
There were many moments when I doubted the orthotics would help but many months later I can now walk pain free! I am again enjoying the pleasures of hiking in the Tucson mountains.
- JW, Tucson
Dr. Aung, What a difference one's kindness makes. We really appreciate your understanding and efforts during Bill's successful treatment.
- B&P, Tucson
I cannot thank you enough for literally giving my life back in saving my foot. When all looked lost you did not allow me to lose hope and went above and beyond in treating my condition. I can now look forward to many wonderful and active days with my grandchildren.
- MB, Benson
Dear Dr. Aung, Having just read some internal reports, I wanted to drop you a quick note to thank you for your willing and able assistance of one of our passengers during a recent flight.
- JF, Executive Office, Southwest Airlines
Sometimes small things make lasting impressions...like the kindness you show. They leave behind warm feelings and grateful memories that will never be forgotten.
- Thank you, VJ
